Event Rental Policies

Rental Periods

Rental items can be picked up or delivered several days before your event and returned the day after the event for a 24-hour rental payment. Other arrangements may be set if requested.

Identification

A valid photo driver’s license is required for ALL rentals. A major credit card may be used as a second form of identification. Proof of insurance is required for vehicles towing trailers.

Rental Payments, Deposit Requirements, and Cancellation

20% of your reservation and a deposit is due at the time the reservation is made. The deposit amount will be refunded as long as all items are returned. Cancellations within 2 weeks of reservation date are not allowed. No refund is given for canceled items within 2 weeks of the reservation date. Reductions within 2 weeks of reservation date are not allowed. Reservations must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the reservation date.

Delivery

Delivery is available at a nominal fee. Special containers are provided for your china, silver, glassware, etc., to ensure that you receive your items sanitized, undamaged, sparkling, and table-ready. Our delivery personnel is instructed to neatly stack all items in a mutually convenient place on delivery. Rates quoted are for ground floor deliveries to your door. Setup and takedown are available if arranged in advance with our office staff. If you prefer, you may pick up and return your rental items to our locations.

Setup & Takedown

Setup & Takedown service is available for a fee. This service must be arranged prior to the Delivery/Pickup.

Pick Up

All china, silver, utensils, etc., should be rinsed free of food and re-packed in the same containers as delivered. Linens should be returned in the green linen bags provided by Rent Rite Events. Tables and chairs should be knocked down and stacked on the stacker carts ready for pick up. All items should be assembled in a single location, ready for pickup. Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional fees.

Event on Site Survey

A rental specialist can meet you at the site of your event. The experience of our Rent Rite Events team will help you create a professional event.

Damages

Rental items lost, damaged, or stolen will be assessed at a reasonable replacement cost on the rental contract. All replacement costs and cleaning charges are non-negotiable.

Decorations on Rental Items

Tape, fish line, pins, adhesive, and/or zip ties are not allowed to be used on any rental items. Rental items returned or picked up with tape, fish line, pins, adhesive, and/or zip ties attached are subject to a fee of $100.00 per hour to remove all items (minimum fee $100.00 for removal)

Damage Waiver

The damage waiver is a non-refundable, percentage charge added to all rental contracts. It covers accidental damage from normal usage. The damage waiver does not cover loss or negligence.

Payment Methods

Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express are accepted. Debit and credit cards are required, and the only form of payment for rental items.

Responsibility

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.
